Marseilles, a leading port city and a player in international maritime trade, was the chosen destination for a previous remarkable conference on the optimization of logistics monitoring for cold chain professionals. Today, the Southern France city is once again making its entry in the Ownest calendar. Our start-up has just been selected by ZEBOX, an incubator-accelerator of international start-ups founded on the initiative of Rodolphe Saadé, CEO of CMA-CGM and installed since 2018 in the famous Phoenician city.

At the beginning of this year 2020, Ownest is proud to join the 5th batch of the ZEBOX accelerator structure, alongside two other innovative startups.

This accelerator specialized in the sectors of transport and logistics, mobility but also industry 4.0, was created on the initiative of the CEO of the shipowner CMA-CGM, world leader in maritime transport, as part of the development of its digitalization strategy.

An incubation hub has been announced in 2019 in Guadeloupe, which will enable promising internationalization strategies for the selected daring entrepreneurs.

Offering a synergy of talents and knowledge, ZEBOX facilitates co-development, business creation and develops opportunities for networking and geographical expansion.

The structure has just signed a partnership with the CIMC group (China International Marine Containers), the world's leading producer of maritime containers, and more generally of equipment for logistics and energy.

Headed by Matthieu Somekh, previously Director of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Pole at the Ecole Polytechnique, the 1,000 m² of the New City of Innovation and Knowledge offers a collaborative and friendly setting to make the Acceleration Program a resounding success.

This 8-month, tailor-made support programme is punctuated by expert advice and mentors.

After Keeex, the ZEBOX incubator-accelerator is once again putting its trust in a blockchain start-up. What bodes well for the future.
